Freedom Riders
All of God's creation cries out to be at peace with it's Creator, including animals that have suffered abuse or neglect. There just seems to be some kind of mutual healing that takes place when hurting people spend time with hurting animals. David Herrin has reached out to hurting people for many years to help them find peace with God and peace with themselves.
Freedom Riders was developed to bring healing. Several rescue horses have been adopted along with mustangs and mini-horses to form this ministry. David, along with several other volunteers meet with groups on the second Saturday of each month for time with the horses and a brief devotion. It's a great time to brush the horses, clean out stalls, improve pastures, and of course ride.
Every precaution is taken for safety but a waiver is required before participating.

For those who are uncomfortable with the church setting, we're starting a bible study the third Wednesday in September at the farm.
