I love being a part of Cornerstone Church! It is so nice to know everyone
and to have the opportunity to get involved and serve.
Thank you for all you and Mrs. Lisa do!
Here goes nothing.....
Cornerstone is like my family (but thank goodness the people are nothing like my blood family, lol). It is where I go when I need help, nuturing or to be with friends. It is also where I find joy and peace when life is craziest! The messages always seem to be so real and applicable to some part of my life. (Are you preaching to me every week?, lol). I love the small atmosphere, contemporary worship and I love the kids programs!! (of course I'm a little bias on that part).
That's my story. Appreciate everything you do for us and the church!
I think that cornerstone is a microcosm of the way the world should operate. Even with its size, it works with other churches, looking at the big picture first and foremost, to impact the community on a real level without saying hey look at us. To me personally cornerstone is like an oasis where I can recharge my batteries and get ready for the world again.
hey clay,
Hey how are you? I just checked my email. Cornerstone chruch means alot to me, you and the chruch has help me get through some things in my life. Thanks to the chruch, I have finally got myself right and the lord living in my heart. I wish the world can operate like cornerstone. Well I can go on and on but I am running out of time at the library. I hope this helps you understand my opinion.
Clay,
Okay, I know that I am the "pinky toe nail" of the church family, but Cornerstone means a lot to me. Most of all (beyond the personal spiritual benefits to myself), it means that I can raise my children knowing and loving God and all the benefits that brings (like not making some of the mistakes in life that I have made; loving others; being an asset to society and our community; respecting themselves and others; etc.).
Hi Clay,
I don't know exactly how to say what's in my heart. I have been attending Cornerstone for over a year now and I am extremely blessed to be there. I was searching for a place I could really call 'home' and mean it. I needed a place where I felt accepted just for who I am and a place where I felt free to serve God. I had been in a church for about 27 years and the last 8 - 10 years it got colder and colder. God had dealt with me for several months to come to Cornerstone but because I had been at “such and such” church so long it was hard for me to leave. I foresee a real future for our church "an even closer love for each other, a growing burden to witness to and reaching the lost, growing more teachers thru our youth and of course we all pray for God to bless us with a new and larger building in which to serve".
Clay, Cornerstone means so much to me. I was made to feel loved and accepted from the first day I came. I love to work in the church and serve God. I sure hope you don't feel like I'm "pushy", I just want to help in anyway I can. It is awesome to walk in and feel the spirit of God. Now Clay, just one more thing, I'm so thankful God has put you at Cornerstone. You bless my heart every time you bring the message. I know you love the Lord and you love people and want to see everyone accept God as their Lord and Savior. God will continue to bless CORNERSTONE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH!
Cornerstone taught me HOW and the importance of developing a personal relationship with Christ. That is a powerful thing....more powerful than I may ever know.
I Love the songs we sing, and the fact your clothes aren't important. Clay has a sense of humor that he shares with us.
Thank-You and God Bless!
